In large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, rum extract, and lemon peel until
light and fluffy. Sift together flour and baking powder; add to
creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in butter. Bake in
greased and floured pan at 350 50-60 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan 10-15 minutes and then turn onto serving plate. In
saucepan, combine sugar and water for glaze and cook until sugar is dissolved.
Cool and add rum. Pour glaze over cake. May serve warm or cold.
